THE KLAVENESS CONCEPT

It is our close collaboration with the medical Research Community, Orthopaedic experts and Research institutions that has largely contributed to the development of Klaveness Skofabrikk AS and to what the company represents today.  For over 40 years we have been producing shoes to the great satisfaction of our customers and users.

We have learnt to listen to the experts and – not least – to what satisfies our customers and this is why we have been so successful over the years. We would like our shoes to be associated with pleasure.  Our shoes are quite simply designed for comfort.  We want them to be stylish, of high quality and to provide the best possible comfort for our customers.

According to our philosophy a shoe should be adapted to the foot and not vice versa.  We emphasise that our products are of modern design and that orthopaedic footwear can be trendy.  Our special shoes therefore can hardly be distinguished from high street fashion shoes – but they have the additional values patients and users require.

We develop, produce and distribute the following range of products:

• Comfort shoes: Broad last with an extremely comfortable fit.
• Stock prescription footwear: room for custom-made insoles.
• Shoes for rehabilitation and treatment purposes for people suffering from diabetes, rheumatism and other conditions.
• Modular (individually adjusted) footwear.
• Orthopaedic (Bespoke Prescription) footwear.
